Season Launch 2019

We’re pleased to bring you the photos from our recent Season Launch at Zinc Fed Square, which was proudly presented by Western Union Business Solutions. Nearly 300 guests joined host Nigel Carmody as he spoke with special guests Alex Rance, Ashleigh Brazill, and our surprise main segment, the 30th Anniversary of the 1989 VFL Grand Final, which included special guests John Kennedy Jnr and Steven Hocking.

Demon great David Schwarz delivered a moving Toast to Football, whilst club stalwarts Brian Waldron and Jennie Loughnan were awarded Life Membership. State Labor MP Nina Taylor also announced a $200K grant for a facilities upgrade at Bert Healy pavilion – what a day!

We look forward to bookending our event calendar with the annual Blue & Gold Gala on June 15th at Hawthorn Arts Centre, with more detail to follow – SAVE THE DATE!
