Senior Coach Paul Satterley’s tenure as Senior Coach came to an end on the weekend. The announcement came after Satterley coached the team to an 85-point win over St Bedes to secure its place in William Buck Premier grade for Season 2019.

In speaking to the players post game, Satterley said he was departing with a heavy heart however he felt the time was right for both himself and the Club to move on.

Club President Brian Waldron said Satterley had made a tremendous contribution to the Club in his five years at the Dees.

“Paul is a man of outstanding character and integrity, who has worked incredibly hard to deliver success to our football club. He and his family depart with many friends and great appreciation from all within the De La community for five years of outstanding commitment to our Club, we sincerely thank them.”

Waldron said the club will advertise for its Season 2019 Coach later this week and expect to name a replacement by mid to late September.
