Ivanhoe probably were better in the Second quarter . We dropped off , didn’t run as much . We still lead at half time by 4 points De La 5.3.33 to OI 4.5.29 At the main break we talk about our running game and how it exposes them defensively.
A tight third quarter. We get to a 4 goal lead but allow them to kick two late goals Scores at last break De La 9.5.59 to OI 6.9.45 Game still up for grabs .
Our last quarter we play our best footy for the day . Kick 5 goals to 1 in the last quarter. Great finish by the boys Final Score De La 14.9.93 to OI 7.9.51 Jack Hanley kicks 3 goals and plays a great game. Wiseman and McMahon kick 2 each Liam Eldering plays his best game for the season. He caused them a heap of trouble as a big target up fwd .
Our mids were dominating most of the day led by Ethan Bowden, Gustin and Sam McNidder cracking in as usual . We look fwd to improving each week and have Camberwell to play next week who are fourth .
