The reserves started slow today against an opposition that likes to play at home. Unfortuntaely, in the 1st qtr one of the opposition suffered an injury causing the game to be delayed as the trainers waited for an ambulance. Eventually, the player’s condition improved and after around a 30-40 minute delay the player was able to be stretchered off and the game continued in a reduced manner.
Throughout the game we were well structured and played it in our forward half. Hamish Curtis in the middle of the ground worked tireslessly all day and enabled us to win many clearances. We lacked a bit of polish with the ball in hand at times. Overall we drew away late to win a shortened game by 4 goals.
