De La Salle College student Luke Healy has been awarded the ‘Most Outstanding Performer for Senior Football Division 2, in Term 2 of 2023, in the Associated Catholic Colleges Senior Sport Awards, 2023.
Luke has played several games in our Senior Men’s team this season.
The ACC described his achievements:
“Luke was the team’s CHB all season. Rarely if ever beaten in the contest, Luke is a strong marking player and a great kick. Luke replaced the De La Salle full forward in a game this season and kicked 10 goals and 3 behinds.”
“As the team Vice Captain, Luke demonstrated his leadership to the team averaging 107 ranking points, 14 disposals and 8 marks (3.3 contested) per game. His performance on and off the field was outstanding.”
Another college student who made his debut with DLSAFC this season, Luke Lloyd, was also honoured.
Luke was named in the ACC Senior Sport Team of the Year- Football, as one of the Forwards.
