Old Haileybury vs De La Salle

Match Report

After a narrow loss last week we need to bounce back this week. Old Haileybury entertain us this week and we plan to have a big win . We allow them to kick the first goal of the match but we then kick the next 6 . Quarter time we lead De La 6.0.36 to OH 1.2.8 .

We are playing a good brand of footy and are on top. Our backs are generating a lot of drive , our mids are winning the clearances and our fwds are enjoying some good footy coming inside 50 Halftime De La 11.4.70 to OH 2.2.14

Our third quarter was a little frustrating as we kicked 2.7 . We just couldn’t find the goals . We manage to keep OH to two behinds for the quarter. Three quarter time scores are De La 13.11.89 to OH 2.4.16.

At the last break we urge the boys to finish off the game by having a good quarter. I tell them we run them off their legs or we can jist be CNN laxtans take it easy.We have a good finish and kick 6 goals to 2 points
Final score De La 19.12.126   OH 2.2.14 , we keep them scoreless in the last quarter . Great finish by all
