We face off against Old Ivanhoe who are third in the ladder and we are second. Big game . OI only have two on the bench to start the game so we have an advantage. Slow to start but we have a good finish to the first quarter. We keep them scoreless and we kick 4.3.27

To keep the third team to one goal at half time was a great effort by the team. Fwds sharing the ball around, mids well on top and backs dominating their direct opponents .

After halftime the game was clogged up and we needed to think our way through the congestion. To OI’s credit their second half was full of merit as they fought the game out to the end . Final scores De La 12.14.86. OI 5.4.34 Three more games to go before finals as we play Old Camberwell next week. They are fighting for a finals spot so we’re expecting a tough contest .
