Match Report
Well we missed out on the 4 points again against a very impressive side in top of the table Old Xavs. For us at the moment it’s not about winning, we just want to give these boys and the under 19 top up players a game of footy . Let me say the under 19 lads were great again . A win is not far away.
Our boys started really well kicking 3 straight goals to Xavs 3.5. By half time Xavs 8.9.57 De La 6.1.31
A first half full of character and determination made us believe in ourselves. We asked the boys to continue the fight . Three quarter time arrived and we are still having a crack, Xavs 10.14.74 De La 7.1.43
Final siren arrived and we certainly played it out to the end but Xavs ran out comfortable winners
Xavs clearly the team to beat they have had 3 easy wins. We are getting better each week. We play our first home game next week v Old Geelong . Hoping to improve again .
